Boardman Performance Centre
Not exactly an ‘epic ride’… but a ½ day physiology session at the Boardman Performance Centre equalled any major ride in terms experience and enjoyment.
Based on the edge of the Cotswolds, the 18,000 sqft Boardman Performance Centre is a World Class facility, offering best-in-class services from industry specialists in physiological fitness, function and health, bike-fitting, positional biomechanics and aerodynamics.
At the heart of the centre sits the UK's first cycling-specific wind tunnel offering cyclists of all abilities the chance to explore aerodynamics, position and performance in a way previously reserved only for elite level athletes and teams.
Consider this an in-depth physical MOT with the primary goal of pushing your performance. This comprehensive assessment is designed with competitive riders in mind but is also suitable for those who wish to be the best they can be.
The 4-hour Physiology Session was led by Lee Eddens, Senior Physiologist. The introduction ran through expectations and deliverables.
